What does the evidence actually say?
We rate the evidence behind claims made about dietary supplements, one claim at a time, using what systematic reviews and health authorities have already concluded.
How this works
We rate claims, not supplements. A supplement can have good evidence for one use and none for another.
Safety comes first. Risks and interactions appear above evidence ratings on every page.
Every rating cites its sources. We link to the reviews so you can read them yourself.
We are not clinicians. This site curates what qualified experts have concluded. It is not medical advice.
The evidence keeps moving
What science tells us changes as new findings arrive. A claim that looked solid a few years ago can weaken when a larger review lands — and occasionally the reverse happens, and something dismissed turns out to hold up.
We started this site for the same reason you are probably reading it. We want long, healthy lives for ourselves and our families, and we found it genuinely hard to keep track of what the current evidence says.
So we started writing it down. This is that record, kept current and shown with its sources.
