Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit bottledhope.co ("Bottled Hope", "we", "us"). Bottled Hope is operated by SK102 LLC, which is responsible for the information described here.

The short version

  • There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no forms that collect personal or health information.
  • The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
  • We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports aggregate numbers and does not identify you.
  • We do not currently show advertising.
  • We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
  • If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to fix errors.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no profile to create.
  • No health information. We do not ask what supplements you take, what conditions you have, or what medications you are on. No page on this site accepts that information.
  • No forms. Corrections and questions reach us by email, which you send from your own mail program.
  • No session recording and no fingerprinting.

Information handled when you visit

Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical information your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the address of the page requested. It uses this to deliver pages and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. We do not use this information to identify visitors. Cloudflare's handling of it is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or localStorage to collect these metrics, and does not fingerprint visitors by IP address, browser, or any other data. It reports to us only in aggregate: page views, which pages are popular, the country a visit came from, the site that linked here, general device type, and page loading speed. It does not record the query-string part of page addresses. None of this is tied to you as an individual.

We use these figures to learn which supplements people are looking for and whether pages load quickly enough. If you prefer not to be counted at all, blocking static.cloudflareinsights.com with a content blocker prevents the analytics script from loading, and the site works normally without it.

Search. Site search runs in your browser. Your browser downloads parts of the search index from this site and does the matching itself; the words you type are not sent to us or to anyone else.

If you email us

When you write to info@bottledhope.co, we receive your email address, any name attached to it, and whatever you write. We use this only to read and reply to your message and, if you report an error, to correct the site. Your message is stored by our email service provider, which handles it on our behalf. We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed, and in any case within two years.

Please do not send us information about your own health, conditions, or medications. We cannot give personal advice, and we do not need that information to correct the site. If you send it anyway, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how it is handled.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, including localStorage. We set none of our own, our analytics sets none, and with advertising switched off there is no ad or consent-tool cookie either.

Advertising

This site does not currently serve advertising. No ad network is loaded, no advertising script runs, and nothing on any page makes a request to an advertising partner.

We expect to introduce advertising once the site is established. Before any ad is served we will update this page to name the advertising partners and the consent tool in use, describe the choices you are given, and explain how to change or withdraw consent. Advertising partners and consent tools typically use cookies or similar identifiers, and this page will say so before they are introduced. Two commitments hold regardless:

  • Advertising scripts will not load until the consent tool has collected the consent that applies to you. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you will be asked before any personalized advertising is served.
  • Ads will never appear inside or next to a safety section or an evidence rating.

We do not collect health information, so no advertising partner can receive it from us.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. The only organizations that handle information about visitors are the service providers named above, Cloudflare and our email service provider, and only to provide their services to us.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track visitors across other websites, so the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. If advertising is introduced, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Legal basis (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If data protection law in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland applies to you, we rely on our legitimate interests to handle the information described above: delivering and securing the site, measuring aggregate traffic, and replying to messages you choose to send us.

Where information is processed

SK102 LLC is based in the United States, and Cloudflare operates data centers around the world. If you visit from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States and in other countries whose data protection laws differ from yours.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. In practice, the only personal information we are able to connect to you is email you have sent us.

To make a request, email info@bottledhope.co. We will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is written for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Every page is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We keep the site's third-party code to the minimum described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change affects how your information is handled, such as the introduction of advertising, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
